It certainly seems as if there is a podcast for everybody and that you need to check back often.
Podcast Alley provides an option of knowing what podcasts were added in the last hour.
To find my podcast topics, I tried both the subject approach and checked the list of top topics.
Here are my choices:
1) Irish Fireside (has a fire flame next to the name)
I am applying for Irish citizenship (am already a dual American-Canadian citizen) and thought that I should soak up some background. I listed to a podcast that included information about the lesser visited treasures of the Shannon Region and Liam singing the Limerick "You're A Lady." delightful!
2) Filmspotting
I have a well-known interest in film (formerly worked for the Toronto International Film Festival's Film Reference Library) and naturally was interested in podcasts about films. This weekly podcast from Chicago featurs reviews of new films, Top 5 Lists and film talk in general.
3) Will Write for Wine
I love the name of this weekly podcast about wine, writing and song. I come from a wine family - my father wrote a wine column in the U.S. and my husband is trained as a sommelier.
Me? I love to enjoy good wine with good friends.

23 Things Assignment #6 Google Docs
Help me compile a list of film gems!
I collaborate on documents with a number of people both at TPL
and in other locations, so Google docs will be quite useful.

When I searched del/icio.us for "health," there were 390638 hits!
This will be a good way to organize my more important bookmarks and to
search del.icio.us for other topics.

23 Things Assignment #2
September 25, 2007
Here are two scenic photos - one of winter (which can be beautiful even though Canadians gripe about how long it lasts) and sunset - I recall the incredible beauty of many Florida sunsets that I have enjoyed.
The last photo speaks to one of my major interests - film. It's a still of the sheik, Rudolph Valentino from "Blood and Sand." I recently viewed 56 films at the Toronto International Film Festival and one of them was an Australian film, "Dr. Plonk," that was a hommage to silent film. Tiberius, a crafty Jack Russell terrier (portrayed by Reg the Dog) delivers an Academy Award winning performance who comes back in the time machine from the future with a trunk full of dog toys!.
